Some Advice if You’re in an Unusually Long Financial Struggle

From personal experience, as I write this blog, it is hard to function well when financially struggling.

Being that I have been in a financial struggle for 3 years now, I have had to figure out how to get myself out of this situation.

In my case, I have reached out for help in so many ways and so many times. I was wondering, why have I applied to hundreds of jobs and have had no luck getting hired.

I took a step back to figure out why am I in this situation, what am I supposed to learn during this struggle time, and how to get out of it.

Why Am I In This Situation?

Be honest about why you are in the situation you’re in. Go back to when things started to go downhill for you. Many times you also have to look back at your childhood and the money lessons you’ve learned. Look at it all to start making sense of your actions, thoughts, and why you’re in the place you are in.

For me, I chose to get into this situation without being Spiritually led. I recognized my wrongs and took all of the responsibility for my actions while also not beating myself up about it. I’ve even taken time to go back to my childhood and what were the situations going on with money in my family and all.

What Am I Supposed To Learn During This Struggle Time?

We all come here to learn and many times than not you will learn many lessons while struggling. This is where you learn different ways to make money, the lessons you’ve learned, and the wisdom you’ve gained. I think it is best to write down any and everything you can. Writing can help clear your mind for other things. Also writing it down or taking notes on your phone gives you documentation to look back at.

For me, I have documented how my days went, what I’ve experienced, how my health was, how my body was feeling, etc. Anything that can help me see patterns and other evaluations I could take from that information. I did this all by journaling (a lot) and documenting my days in my iPad’s calendar.

How To Get Out Of It?

With all of the journaling and documenting, you’ll see more into your situation and come up with a game plan. You also have to be disciplined and make realistic actionable tasks to complete. Sometimes you can get overwhelmed if you have too much to do, which can cause you to procrastinate and not want to do anything. Do not overwhelm yourself with too many tasks in a day. Make sure you also incorporate rest because you’ll need it. Also, try your best to eat healthy when you can and move your body.

For me, I made a game plan for myself and stuck to it, well as I’m writing this I’m still in the midst of it. I have evaluated my situation, recognized my main issue, and have come up with a plan that consists of small actionable plans every week. This is how I plan. It’s not your average planning because I do not want to pressure myself and be hard on myself. If something comes up I can tend to it, if I am feeling under the weather then I will take the time to get better without the stress and pressure on myself. If I do not complete a task sometime that week I will move it to the next week.

No problem, no stress, no pressure. Be easy.

Answering those questions has brought me calmness, hope, healing, and wisdom.

Having a plan and writing it down has helped clear my mind, helped me to stay focused, and freed up space in my mind to think about the important actionable steps to take to get myself out of this situation. It has also helped with lessening my stress and worries.

From my experience, sometimes the financial struggle, especially if it’s an unusually long financial struggle, can be deeper than what we can see on the surface level. It could be that you are surrounded by people who are holding you back or it’s a lesson that you need to learn, etc.

Final words

Take the time to do a deeper evaluation of your life, especially if you feel like you’ve been struggling for an unusually long time.

I believe taking a deeper look at things is very beneficial for you. After doing the work you need to do for yourself then you can look on YouTube, Google, TikTok, etc. for more options to make more money.

May Many Blessings Be Upon You.
