Umm I think I’m fine not being a human hair weave and wig girlie anymore.
Because I am moving towards a more wholistic lifestyle, human hair weave and wigs are not apart of that journey.
Especially finding out where they are getting this hair! 😮
I used to sell human hair years ago and did not feel like I was getting bad hair. Any hair I got I would soak it in apple cider vinegar first. Then I would shampoo and condition as regular.
After seeing so many bundles I started to wonder where all this hair was coming from. I’m like, it’s not that many people growing hair and giving it up for free. Some of this hair has to be cloned or not real human hair.
The way the vendor would tell me was that their best hair came from ” one donor” and that all the cuticles are going in the same direction and some other stuff. So that’s why you wouldn’t experience so much shedding and tangling.
After testing the hair for years, I would say the hair I have is still in great condition and hasn’t shed much at all. Even though I did not wear the hair everyday I did wear them on an off for a year or so. I think I put them to test well.
I still own most of these wigs that I made myself with bundles, closures, and frontals.
I would say that these full wigs were amazing protective styles for me because I grew my natural hair long and full without touching it much.
I am on a serious journey to grow out my natural hair so I will be using the natural hair journal I created and some units from Fingercomber.
I’d rather wear hair units that are not human hair than human hair units/wigs because of the weird practices they are doing to get and sell the hair. We do not know the donors personally, some of them I heard weren’t even alive. 😮 The hair could be from bad energy.
